Bringing mesh builds inworld from free resources is awesome, but we need to keep in mind the vertices, as some have a million. This would definitely lag grid. That being said, let me show you a few resources.
First is a favorite go to site, the files I save are .3DS which then have to be converted to .dae files in Blender, you can also remove doubles prior to saving, sometimes too, you might need to flip normals.
You can also convert your files at various mesh converter sites, a google search brings up a few.
Archive 3D Net has great items, read the TOS prior to selling as many are for personal use only.
Free 3D formerly Tf3dm is an excellent resource too. Again make sure you read the TOS prior to selling. Some free resource sites even say not to be used in worlds such as SL, so it is important to know what is actually free to use however you wish.
This site has models that can be used for commercial but requires a fee for the models
https://free3d.com/3d-models/ With a google search of Free 3D Models you will find other resources too, just check the TOS.
