Our journey in virtual tribute bands began practically day one in GCG. We had a vision, knew what we wanted to accomplish but had no clue where to begin in this new, vast world we had stumbled upon. All we knew was, we wanted to blend tribute concerts in GCG with fundraising. With some background knowledge acquired from other grids, I started making anything and everything I could think of from an amplifier to drum cymbals to stage lights to dance floors to clothes to skins, and all points in between. While I was bashing my head against a wall finding textures I also found myself with the challenge of scripts. If I thought digging up textures was a challenge, nothing compared to scripting. Spending hour after hour failing more times than succeeding with scripts, we were lucky when Sofie joined us on GCG. Sofie has taken very quickly to scripting and she amazes us every day with something new.
While this was all going on, Sabrina stayed vigilant combing every nook and cranny of not only GCG, but any and every other grid possible. It was during one of these hunts she came across Blondie's shop. Right off the bat it was obvious this guy knows what he's doing. We messaged Blondie with a few questions not really expecting an answer as this is what we'd encountered with so many others in the past on other grids. About an hour after we sent a message, Blondie sent us a reply and we've been picking his brain ever since LOL!
Something very important I want you, dear reader to realize is all of this is an undertaking that never ends. Every time we premiere a new band, there have been countless hours spent on the project. New hair, new shapes, new clothes, new skins, new instruments, on and on it goes. We've got a great team where everyone has taken on specific tasks. They take on the challenge and when all these parts come together there is a finished product people have taken a real shining to.

We can't wait to throw more fundraisers and keep everyone rocking while earning our title of being, "GCG's Rock 'n' Roll Fundraisers".
I want to take this opportunity to sincerely Thank Blondie along with each and every other one of you that help us put on these fundraisers. On behalf of the team and myself, we want to Thank you, the reader for having made our fundraisers the huge success they have been. If it weren't for you we would have no one to perform to. Last but certainly not least, a very big Thank you to Roddie Macchi without whom we would not have this wonderful place we all call home. Let's not forget everything he does for us.
