by Lynnestra Parker - Region Reviews
Greeting GCG Neighbors,
I am sure you have heard about the successful fishing competition that Tigerkitti Eberdene had on August 11, at DragonMoor. Tig tells me that DragonMoor is not totally finished. I can't wait for the finished regions! This is already an excellent build.
I walked around the beach where the fishing contest was held and found some drying fish. This looked like a nutritious snack but when looked further on I saw two groups of picnic tables and one of the largest BBQs I have ever seen. I grab a bag of chips and a beer.
Past the BBQ I find some deer and to the right of that a clearing with a path. Of course I followed the path. What did I find? Sign says "Horse trails". Anyone that knows this Texan knows I must ride. As I mount my horse I notice a board with signs. A teleport board. I will have to play with that as well.
The horse trail is awesome! Well marked path, surrounded by nature. The waterfalls, animals, flowers and trees makes this trail worth your time. I had my sun set to estate time and it was beautiful the way the lighting highlighted some trees and plants. I would suggest taking a special someone. It is quite romantic, especially after the marked path ends; at a fallen tree. You can discover romance in the cave or atop the waterfalls. :)
Back to the teleport sign...
Ten locations listed, one I am already on. How to choose? Just go left to right? nah... close eyes and click. :)
DragonMoor Courtyard Main Landing. There be dragons here. No one seems to mind them flying about. Market place or... Ye Olde Dragon Inn, which to visit first. Walking into the Inn I see a maid cleaning the floor. Nice to know they keep it clean. Cute dragons on pedestals, a stage and of course, because it is an Inn, a plethora of tables around. I leave and I move east and see ladders... climbing. Over an east wall there is a very lovely and inviting sight of a coastline and houses. Beautiful coast.
I go back to the teleport board and choose DragonMoor Army Base and memorials. Older planes are having an air show and there is also an animal memorial for the animals in war. Oh and a place where you can see pictures of people that have served. This is a great place to go remember those that fought for the freedoms we enjoy, some of them are not here to enjoy said freedoms with us. This is quite the salute to those that served, I can't wait to explore it more later.
This place is over 9,000 meters in the air. Tigerkitti tells me there is a castle on the ground level, a ship yard and a dragon rezzer where you can hop a dragon and go for a ride. There is also going to be an awesome Halloween build coming, keep your eyes and ears open for that.
Tigerkitti Eberdene, you and your crew did a most awesome job! DragonMoor is a wonderful place to explore and play.
